ViroStatics Flow Cytometry Unit

ViroStatics scientists have designed flow-cytometry based multi-parametric assays to monitor the therapeutic effects of AV-HALTs and therapeutic vaccines. These approaches are a critical component of monitoring our clinical trials and also allow ViroStatics to perform effective screening of new AV-HALT drug candidates. ViroStatics Flow Cytometry Unit is equipped with state-of-art instrumentation including the high-end BD LSR-II flow cytometer capable to provide a simultaneous analysis for up to 14 parameters from a single sample.

3 lasers (405nm,488nm,635nm) / 5 lasers max 14 PMTs : FS, SS, 3FL(405), 6FL(488), 3FL(635) /20 PMT max 12 color analysis, 5-decades digital acquisition, 12x12 compensation matrix /18 colors max. DiVa 6.1 software.

- 2-12 color phenotyping (up to 18 colors in 4 -5 laser configuration)

Coulter Epics XL-ADC




1 laser (488nm), 6 PMTs : FS,SS, 4FL 4 color analysis, 4 decades semi-digital acquisition, 4x4 compensation matrix Expo 32 ADC software.

- 2-3-4 color phenotyping (FITC, PE,PE-TexRed,PE-Cy5)
- Proliferation assays (CFSE dilution, BrdU, KI67)
- Cell cycle analysis
